Citra is a special aroma hop variety developed by the Hop Breeding Company. It was released in 2007. Citra has quite high alpha levels and total aroma oil levels with a low cohumulone content. The variety brings interesting intense notes of citrus and tropical fruits into the beer.
Suitable for American Light and Amber Ale, American India Pale Ale (IPA), Porter, Specialty and Experimental Beer, Stout.
All our hops are packaged on arrival in a special vacuum packaging for optimum durability and stored in the refrigerator at 5 ° C. Availability and alpha acid content depend very much on the harvest.
